In one of my DMACC classes, I tackled an album cover design for “The Lower 48,” an assignment using Photoshop to create a vibrant composition reflecting a free-style alternative rock band from Alaska debuting in the lower 48 states. Despite having limited Photoshop experience at the time, I embraced the learning curve, exploring various tools and gradually gaining confidence in the software. By studying tutorial videos and experimenting with different techniques, I crafted a playful and visually captivating album cover that embodies the band’s spirited adventure.
